Our meteorologists have been on the front lines of the nationals largest, most dangerous, and complex wildfires, with extensive experience working for Type I state and federal (FEMA) Incident Management Teams.
Our fire weather meteorologists have M.S. in Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology and have issued thousands of fire weather and site-specific forecasts for city, state, county, and federal agencies (BLM, USFS, FEMA, USFWS, National Guard, Navy, Marines), as well as independent wildland firefighting teams. We have also taught fire weather training classes to city, country, state, and federal firefighters (BLM, USFS, NPS), including having authored numerous scientific papers on weather patterns that impact wildfires. In addition, we have served as NOAA Incident Meteorologists, traveling to the largest and most complex wildfires in the country, providing on-site weather forecasts for city, county, state and federal wildland firefighting teams, including working alongside Incident Commanders, Fire Behavior Analysts, Emergency Managers, and Operational and Planning Section Chiefs.
We also provide expert forensic and legal analysis for major wildfires that have impacted communities in the US, including recently one of the nation's most destructive.
